Naturopathic medicine is guided by the principle "First, do no harm." This approach focuses on supporting the body and its innate ability to heal in a natural and holistic way. Naturopathic care can be both preventative and restorative, helping the body function at its best through individualized support.
Treatment may include lifestyle changes, nutrition guidance, botanical medicine, supplements, hydrotherapy, and bodywork.
At Herbal Health & Wellness, PLLC, your first visit focuses on understanding your unique health needs and goals. During this appointment we will discuss your health concerns, review an in-depth medical history, and perform a physical exam if needed. A blood spot sample will also be collected to perform the Carroll Food Intolerance Test.
The results of the Carroll Food Intolerance Test are reviewed during your follow-up visit. At that time, you will receive a personalized treatment plan designed to support your health goals. This test can help identify foods that may be contributing to unexplained symptoms or chronic health conditions.
Additional laboratory testing may be recommended to further support your treatment plan or long-term wellness.
Naturopathic Physical Medicine combines frequency medicine and kinesiology to help assess nervous system function and the body's communication network. When communication between the brain and body becomes disrupted, it can affect how the body functions and responds to stress, injury, or illness.
Through Naturopathic Physical Medicine, these disruptions can be identified and addressed to help restore proper communication within the body. By supporting the nervous system and removing interference, the body is better able to function efficiently and activate its natural ability to heal and restore balance.

AboutHello, I am Dr. Megan Eineke. I have a doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine and am a certified massage therapist. I received my doctorate in 2020 from National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, Illinois. Areas of study were anatomy, physioogy, herbal medicine, homeopathy, nutrition, and prevention and maintenance of acute and chronic diseases.
I am uniquely qualified to help support natural and effective therapies for a wide range of health conditions, from autoimmune disorders to seasonal allergies. I am highly motivated to help support overall wellness, lifestyle changes, and nutritional counseling.
My own journey started as a kid when I knew I wanted to be a doctor. I have always been drawn to this type of healthcare, which began my educational journey. I finished massage therapy in 2007 and a few years later realized that I wanted to learn more and offer more to my patients. That is when I started to look for schools that offered Naturopathic Medicine, and I enrolled at National University of Health Sciences in 2014.
What I offer at Herbal Health & Wellness is what I practice in my personal life, from eating healthy to taking care of my spiritual health. I enjoy taking walks, sewing, and doing things with my family.
